A beautiful patch, surrounded by rich greens, situated away from busy honking of the Alur town. Client, Mr. Anoop owns a cement factory and wanted to incorporate pre-cast cement pipes and cottages as a part of his Resort planning. 

 

We designed the Pods to carefully accommodate one/two individuals, A bench seat can be folded down to also function as a bed, with the cushions doubling as a mattress and a bathroom.  Walls of the cement pods are whitewashed, lessening the industrial aesthetic, while a flat wooden floor has been installed to make it easier for the occupant to move around. The space extends out like a floating platform, giving the users more room for movement.

The Cottages are designed as an amalgamation of vernacular and modern aesthetics.
